Question 3

Read the following extract from a review of a new film.

“The film’s visual aesthetic is undeniably stunning. Director Anya Sharma crafts a breathtaking world, rich in detail and imbued with a palpable sense of history. The cinematography is masterful, employing sweeping camera angles and vibrant colour palettes to create a truly immersive experience. However, this visual splendour is ultimately undermined by a disappointingly predictable plot. The narrative relies heavily on tired tropes and lacks any real originality. The characters are thinly drawn and their motivations feel contrived. While the performances are competent, they are unable to elevate the material. The film promises a profound exploration of human nature, but delivers only a superficial and ultimately unsatisfying spectacle.”
