- Keyboard Familiarity: Understanding the layout of the keyboard (QWERTY) is crucial.

- Number Lock: Enables the numeric keypad to input numbers.
2. Entering Numbers
Numbers are entered using the numeric keypad on the right side of the keyboard. The Number Lock key must be activated.
- Number Pad: The numeric keypad is designed for efficient number entry.
- Decimal Point: Used to enter decimal numbers.
- Sign Key: Used to enter positive and negative signs.

After text is entered, it often needs to be modified. This includes correcting errors, changing formatting, and rearranging text.
- Backspace Key: Deletes the character to the left of the cursor.

- Insert Key: Allows text to be entered at the current cursor position, overwriting existing text. (Often toggled with the `Insert` key).
- Home Key: Moves the cursor to the beginning of the line.
- End Key: Moves the cursor to the end of the line.
- Arrow Keys: Move the cursor up, down, left, and right.

- Insert Key: Allows insertion of numbers at the cursor position.
- Arrow Keys: Used to navigate within numerical data.
- Decimal Point: Used to add or remove decimal places.
5. Common Errors and How to Avoid Them
Common errors include typos, incorrect capitalization, and missing or misplaced numbers. To avoid these:
- Proofreading: Carefully review the entered text and numbers for errors.
- Spell Check: Use the spell checker to identify and correct spelling mistakes.
- Number Validation: If applicable, use validation rules to ensure numbers are within acceptable ranges.
